Can anybody help me out looking to book a June cruise on the Breeze. I'm not in any rush to book it but if there are going to be any Thanksgiving or Black Friday sales I certainly would so does anybody know or heard if there is any sale going on

If you put off booking, you may get a free cruise or a $29 per day cruise. Seems to be the norm these days.

There's no rhyme or reason to Carnival's sales though. I just look for the itinerary I want, and the price, at a time when I can go.

 

If the price is right, I book. You don't have to book ES to get price drops. You can get them under other fare codes up until final payment. If the price goes up, then you booked at the right time!

 

Pretty sure there are already existing threads about Black Friday (possible) sales. Did you read those?

Been the norm for me. I haven't paid for the last 3 cruises. Sorry, I paid the taxes. If it were me I would wait last minute. Seems Carnival is hurting to fill the ships lately, but I haven't cruised during the high season.

Being offered a great casino offer. We only spend about $200 between my wife and myself on 7 days cruises. We have 3 more cruises booked 1 in Jan and 2 in March. We received a casino offer to cruise Princess even though we have never sailed Princess, so we are doing Princess in March.

I've been offered five free Carnival cruises this year for each passenger. Three of which only required taxes and fees, whereas two offered a 100% reimbursement of cruise fare.

 

Let's not forget cruises can be had for as low as $29 per person per day for normal new bookings.

We will be booking last minute for cruises next year. Exceptions for Alaska and Hawaii. It's going to be hard to resist, but the prices are so much better. Price matching is getting tiresome, too. Makes sense if you have flexibility and don't have your heart set on a particular cabin. We would rather cruise often, so need best prices.

Picky about location and balcony choice for Alaska and Hawaii. Yes, there are some low prices out there for inside or Oceanview. Those would drive me crazy on these itineraries, though.:)

As a general rule of thumb, if you're sailing during the summer, you want to book before January. Why? Because, what is referred in the cruise industry as "wave season", begins. Most people book their summer cruises between January and April, so it's a time when inventory quickly decreases and fares inversely increase and increase.

 

Keep in mind that if for some reason you book your cruise and prices go down, you can get your cruise repriced up until final payment day for most fares, and up until a few days before sailing for Early Saver fares.

 

IMHO, it makes very little sense to wait to book a cruise, unless you own a functioning crystal ball. :o

Depends on which dates. If you're sailing early or late in the Alaska season, then yes. If you're traveling in July or early August, then no. We traveled on Holland early last year and we had a few price drops, OBC and complimentary upgrades. Just a few weeks later, our same sailing was twice as expensive.

Maybe I read the person's response wrong, but for some reason, I think they thought you guys only spent $200 in the casino to be offered the casino rate, but I could be wrong.

Yes our average is around $200-250 on a 7 day cruise in the casino. We have been on 17 cruises with Carnival

I don't think I've paid for my last 4 cruises except for Port/Taxes either. (& airfare, but have been very lucky to get great rates or used miles)

 

I also get great Casino offers.

My upcoming cruise is under $184 total which includes P/Txs & the gratuity. Single supplement waved, Plus, I've already got OB casino cash, used points for hotel & miles for my flights. It can be done.
