I just spoke with a friend who is a TA. He said it is going to be s big sale and will include summer sailing. He said it is as big or bigger then the 35 hour sale. Last thing he told me was if you can sale the rest of this year, do it! Said sailing will be dirt cheap.

I could be wrong but with the pic jetexpress posted it made it look current to the dealbuster thing or whatever it is going on now. I take it then it is not for guarantees only and I will be getting me some obcdc (onboard casino and drink cash) for my early saver??? :D Or should I not even bother waiting up for this??? :(

Your friend was wrong it seems. This new sale is for sailings through the end of May, 2015. I guess to go along with their other sale (Let the Sun Shine In) for cruises through the end of May that they just extended 4 more days. :rolleyes:

TOTAL BUST! They are showing for me and I can't believe I just wasted a couple hours of my precious beauty sleep for this bs of a "special"! :mad:

 

It is only for guarantee and my resident rates are still lower!!!!!

 

I need at least $50 obc for missing my beauty sleep carnival so hook me up now!

Make sure you check under "other rates". Our cruise for January 2015 went down $49 from previous lowest rate.

Ours was the same as the Halloween sale (but without the obc), and the same as the one we booked under the 35 hour sale. Hoping they assign rooms after this sale!

To choose our own cabin the price is exactly what it has been for the past couple of months.

If you are looking for a guarantee do double check this in the morning. I happened to wake up in the middle of the night and silly me pulled it up and there were some MAJOR changes in the prices from 12:15 a.m. to 4:15 a.m. Like super major drops. Unfortunately for me nothing at all changed on my particular date :(

For our particular sailing next month, the rate is 89 more than the Halloween sale and there is no additional OBC as well. I guess our sailing has already reached a certain capacity number that the bean counters feel does not need a rock bottom price around 35 per night.

I see a few pretty good deals.

 

I was looking at the April 8th 8 day cruise to the Southern Caribbean from Port Canaveral two days ago and an interior was $709, today it's $349. Balconies were $1,100, now it's $750.

Nothing can beat that Halloween sale , just priced mine its $400 higher for the interior GT we booked on the Liberty March 1st , but then that's the cheapest 7 day cruise I have ever booked Not too often you can sail for $333 pp fees and everything . Guess we just hit a good one. :D

Cyber Monday FLASH SALE worked out good for us, as we had been watching the price of the Conquest 3/21 sailing. Flash Sale came out over $1200 cheaper for our 3 cabins than any other Carnival discount, including Military or Past Cruiser. We booked!

Me too!! We got a better deal during the 35 hr sale on our upcoming cruise and we let carnival pick. Glad we didnt wait
