She looks good, she's not a new ship by any means but she's not falling apart. The new areas are amazing and the crew was always cleaning and wiping windows

I heard from two friends and on a review that boarding for the ship was chaotic. The one friend was FTTF, but when they called for them to board, everyone just barged ahead of them and Carnival did nothing to control the situation.

On a review by a platinum cruiser, they said there was no special place to sit, and, again, no priority boarding. As I am Platinum myself, I am naturally curious. Did you (or anyone else) notice this?

Thanks

There was not a special lounge that I noticed, however, boarding was not chaotic. They called wedding, diamonds, plats, milestone, suites, fttf, casino, and began general. From when we were called (fttf) we were on within 5 minutes. They weren't even taking the welcome aboard pictures yet.

How were the shows?

I only went to three. In order from favorite to least, they are: 80s pop to the max, heart of soul, getaway island.

I enjoyed the female vocalists, one of the males was good the other was OK. Obviously it was Playlist so it was canned music and more computer graphics vs props.

Looks like it docked about 9:50 or so according to the webcam. I'm glad my flight is at 2:50 and didn't book anything much earlier as I know I'd be on the ship midweek starting to stress over missing our flight or not due to fog.

What nights are elegant nights? Trying to figure out what night to go to David's. We thought about either the first or second night.

The First sea day (2nd night) and the fifth night(Mahogany Bay)were the elegant evenings.

We were delayed because of fog. I was zone 1 and we were called right near 12 noon.

haven't seen any funtimes posted sense 2.0 upgrades. Last time we were on the pride we really enjoyed going up on the lido and playing the bean bag toss game. We met a ton of great people throughout the week. With the movie screen put in it would be tough to have it there again. Did they still have the boards to play or did they do away with them. Also is there any chance they put in a dart board.

I'm interested to see the Fun Times also! First time cruisers in January on the Pride. DH, myself, DS7, DD8 (Turning 9 onboard) and my husbands parents and brother.

Thinking of doing Little French Key in Rotan, but our day is over there at 3:00. Is there enough time?

I saw them playing cornhole off to the side of the stage one day, and I did not see a dart board anywhere on board.

I'll try to have the fun times up sometime today.
