Just Curous about the Solstice Sky Suites

It looks like all of the S2 sky suites on the Solstice class ships are under the buffet area and subject to noise from above. I stayed in one once and asked to be moved due to the cart noise etc, Has anyone had a good experience in one in which there was no noise and what number would that be? Thanks, Wally

Most of the S2`s on the S class ships are under the Ocean View Café and noisy. We have been in 2121. There are 2 S2`a aft on deck 11 that do not have noise problems. Hardly any overhang so you are exposed to weather . We love these two rooms and have one booked for Hawaii cruise. Hopefully with the 2 new builds they will rethink where they put their suites.

We stayed in 2123 on 2 S class ships with no noise issues. A lot of the reports of noise are from suites further aft where the prep area for the buffet seems to be.

We stayed in one of the corner Sky Suites (S1?) right underneath the OceanView cafe and there was never a problem with noise from above.

 

Once in awhile you would her some scraping but never very often.

 

We would look forward to the location again.

We were in 2115 for a transatlantic on the Equinox. It is at the very entrance to the Oceanview Cafe and noise was never a problem that we noticed... and we were onboard for 15 nights.

We are booked in 2121 sailing on May 1st, 2015. Does this room have noise issues or is it one that doesnt? Sorry, just confused. I have chronic pain and daily migraines so im becoming more worried about noise. :-/

We were in 2123 on Eclipse and Equinox, which is right next to 2121, and did not have any noise issues. In fact, we booked it again for our next Eclipse cruise. Relax, you should be fine in this suite.

Hi,

 

We were on the Solstice recently for a 14 night cruise and were located in Sky Suite 2123.

 

Very rarely we heard the rolling sound of a trolley above, but it was very infrequent, and never enough to be of an issue.

 

We found this stateroom lovely.

We were in 2121 on Silhouette with no noise issues at all. Great cabin, great location.
