Is this typical for all sailings on all ships, or is there a specific reason for this? There are many variable that make this schedule impossible for many people. Here's the text. Retired LEO Posted December 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Ignore it and arrive like you normally would.
joepeka Posted December 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) I'm sure others will confirm but this is the standard message Royal sends to embarking guests in order to (in their mind) smooth out the boarding process. If you want to arrive at a time other than your designated deck time, then you can certainly do so. Ignore the communication. ;) Edit: We normally plan to arrive as early as 10:30 or 11:00AM. Never had any issues getting on board right away. Edited December 17, 2014 by joepeka

I was just there don't arrive before 11:00 or you will wait in a long line, we got there at 1:00 there was a line but it was moving, we did't get off until 10:30 on the return and saw all the people waiting in line, they will not let you on before everyone is off
MichaelCMTX Posted December 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Might have less to do with when you can board the ship and more to do with when you can enter your cabin.
