wrighka Posted December 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2014 I apologize in advance for this question! :o Are FLL and MIA the same cruise port????? Thanks for your help!
Maryandi Posted December 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2014 No but close to each other. Fll is Fort Lauderdale, FL and the port is Port Everglades. The port and airport are about 2/3 miles apart. MIA stands for Miami, FL- their port is the Port of Miami. Between the airport and port is about 20 minutes or so, depending on traffic. Could be less. Enjoy your cruise, Maryandi

Well, to be totally accurate, FLL and MIA are both airports...:D And yes, Port Everglades and the Port of Miami are completely separate.
BlueHerons Posted December 18, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 18, 2014 I apologize in advance for this question! :o Are FLL and MIA the same cruise port????? Thanks for your help! Seriously? Fort Lauderdale and Miami are two different cities. Even though they are only about 25 miles apart, it is a good hour drive between the two. wrighka Posted December 18, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted December 18, 2014 I used to work for an airline and that's why I wrote FLL & MIA. And, seriously, I did not know they were separate ports or I wouldn't have asked the question  Thanks for the responses!
