Sanctuary on the Royal

Hi All

 

My partner and I will be on the Royal on 19 March 2015. We sailed on the Regal from Venice this year and enjoyed a couple of days in The Sanctuary. We're hoping to do the same on the Royal but ideally we would like to have access for the full cruise. Does anybody know whether there is still the rush to get places in The Sanctuary at the start of the cruise or has the novelty worn off.

 

Any recent information on the situation would be greatly appreciated.

It never appeared overcrowded to me with many of the staff always hanging around the entrance desk waiting for customers most of the time. Then again it might have been packed with people inside that I couldn't see.

It's not unusual for people to book for the entire cruise but only go for an hour or two a day. So it often appears empty but is fully booked.

Yes. $20/half day. $40/full day. Some ships only charge $30/full day if booked for the entire cruise.

It really depends on the itinerary as well. The more long port days the less likely it is to sell out as early.
