Traffic expectations IAH to Galveston

Hi all,

Question. We're going to be flying in on the 2nd into IAH (George Bush) and plan to drive down to Galveston. What kind of traffic can we expect here on a Saturday afternoon. (flight arrives around 12n)

Just wanted to get some advice from locals.

We drove Saturday last weekend

Galveston to Spring basicly IAH Airport around 12:00 noon

And drove 70 miles an hour all the way . Light traffic!

Should be same this weekend. Holiday weekend and do not believe weather to be great therefore traffic should be lighter also. Hopefully for you also!

 

We live in Galveston.
