What does the "january is the wave month" mean?

Recommended Posts

My July 2015 family cruise I bought back in June 2014 has only gone up. I check almost every day for a price drop with the new sales.

Oh jeez. Really? We booked our July2015 cruise in November 2014. Since then, I was hoping for some price drops.. Checking everyday, twice a day But, i guess I shouldn't get too excited then. Then again, i'm still crossing my fingers for the "wave month" thing to take place. I'll even take a free upgrade. I dont care.. Lol

It may just mean that RCI has come up with another fancy scheme to get you to wave goobye to your money while they wave hello to it, and probably in greater quantities than if you booked before the "promotion".
