Belle Posted January 3, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted January 3, 2015 It's here..2015..Can you believe the year went by so fast. Well how did you do in 2014? Sadly I'm at the weight that I started the year with. Good in one way NO Gain but bad in other no loss. I know my problem is stress eating with all that's going on in my life. Jo..Thank you. I hope everyone likes my little "whatevers" and give them encouragement to keep going each week. Good job on a loss. Diana..Know your gain will come off fast. Just Holiday eating. Rose..Isn't it nice not to gain as much as we might have thought. Be off next week. cruisearama..Sorry you had to lose weight the sick way. Hope you fell better and keep the weight off. Now I hope we all have a good year and LOSE WEIGHT! Now everyone come in and weigh. Ones who have been here and new people. Helps you and all of us to keep accountable. Doesn't matter if you gained, have a lot to lose or a little. We're all here to HELP EACH OTHER!
Hulalovestocruise Posted January 3, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 3, 2015 I was in shock this morning when I stepped on the scale, I have been trying to watch what I have been eating and even went all New Years Eve with no drink. I have been going to the gym and doing palates and have gained weight. I am not discouraged just a little surprised, could be muscle mass instead of fat. I do feel toner and have more energy. Good luck to all of you and Happy New Year. I would like to lose about 20 pounds before my cruise in December. I got an app on my phone to track my food and exercise so hopefully this will help me. Belle Posted January 3, 2015 Author #10 Share Posted January 3, 2015 Your doing well with exercise and eating. Exercise does put muscle on plus just could be some water weight from the holiday. Know you'll get weight off by your cruise.. 11/12 months away. Hope see you in here often.

Hulalovestocruise Posted January 4, 2015 #13 Share Posted January 4, 2015 I am headed back to work tomorrow. It was really stressful at work since July when we got a new scanning system. I was one of the only ones who understood how it worked so I got to teach everyone else and fix all the screw ups, when we left for holiday break everyone was starting to get how it works. We have a gym at work so hopefully I will be able to use it. I like water so I drink a lot daily, coffee and one maybe one pop. Good luck to all, I have to get my body in motion. missy1122 Posted January 4, 2015 #14 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Hi all! I reset my goals for the new year so I am back at the beginning. I've been sick all week so haven't been very active. Hopefully I can get back at it tomorrow. I plan on restarting couch to 5K.
shootr Posted January 5, 2015 #15 Share Posted January 5, 2015 If it was in the house, I ate it - horrid December food wise - fantastic family and visiting wise. Can't get my head in the game yet but I'll keep hoping...
Belle Posted January 6, 2015 Author #16 Share Posted January 6, 2015 Music..Missy..shootr Good to see you. Yes Dec. is a hard month for eating right and exercise. It's a new start NOW. All we can do is Keep trying and never give up. Proud of us all we never give up and keep coming back to lose. For everyone....... What are your new or old tips to losing and keeping it off? 1..I try to have food to grab...when hungry like a salad made (without dressing) add as you eat. 2..When making chicken or hamburgers make extra..heat and eat. 3..Try to know what you'll be eating each day, have the food there to cook. (know this doesn't happen everyday) but is the best if have plan. OK give your tips.
kkamm1 Posted January 7, 2015 #17 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Hi all! I'm hoping to lose 10lbs by my next cruise - end of february. I eat fairly healthy most of the time but definitely could stand to be more active. I have a very sedentary job and with a toddler at home finding time to get a workout in has been a struggle. Hulalovestocruise Posted January 7, 2015 #18 Share Posted January 7, 2015 We have jars of almonds instead of candy sitting out so if we want a snack we just grab a few almonds. Keep moving, my house is getting cleaner and cleaner. I just ordered one of the Jaw Bone fitness bands to help me to remember to move and not sit to long. missy1122 Posted January 8, 2015 #19 Share Posted January 8, 2015 I pack all meals to bring to work and leave my money and credit card in my purse so it's not with me when I am out and about during work hours. I also track what I am eating on my fitness pal. I wear my fitbit everyday and wear a heart rate monitor when I work out.
