Ok what did i miss???

Its been awhile since logging on here so I'm out of the loop, forgive me in advance.

Why is Quantum of the Seas going to China?? I was so excited of its debut in New Jersey in November and looking forward to booking a cruise for this fall but guess what its gone??? What the heck?

Can someone clue me in on the facts here. What ship is replacing it and will it be in NJ or NY?

China is where the new money is and plenty of it. You add a billion or so new potential cruisers to anyone's business and you will get noticed. I believe there are two Voyager Class ships also in China and the Quantum is just the next step. I do believe that the Anthem is supposed to be positioned in Jersey when she arrives.

Quantum is going to China because Bermuda did not get their channel modified to handle Quantum before the summer cruising season. Liberty will replace Quantum in New Jersey until Anthem comes out and replaces Liberty.

Bob is right, but I have a theory.

 

Perhaps corporate is sending the bad "sibling" to go see its "Aunt and Uncle" overseas. It might return oneday, hopefully better behaved. ;):p
