My Time Dining Gratuities

When are gratuities payed for with my time Dining? We sail on the Allure on 2/8/15. I have read that they are prepaid, but havent seen any additional charges on my card. We booked through Royal Caribbean. We have made reservations under my time dining that show up on our Calendar.

$12 per person per day, unless you are in a Grand Suite or better, in which case it's $14.25 per person per day.

Thanks Clarea, for some reason I thought there was an additional charge for the my time dining on top of the $12 a day charge, Silly me.

So why do they require pre-pay if its going to come out of your account automatic anyway?
