Yes, you have to be over 50 to qualify FOR ALL of the benefits. Under 50 qualify for MANY of the benefits. Any age can join. AARP will happily process your credit card regardless of your age.

Maybe since they are nonprofit and they need all the money they can get, that would explain why under 50 is allowed. lol

Let's say it was the Organization for Fluffy Puppies and Cute Cats. You wouldn't have to have a Fluffy Puppy or Cute Cat to join, as long as your check clears you are a supporter. :cool:
