Cabin Pens are changing

In my desk pen bucket I have two blue and one (elusive) red clear barrel pen. They are now collector items. Cruised on the Inspiration 1/5/14 and the pens have changed. They are now triangular and solid white.:(

Carnival still provides pens? LOL. RCI quit in the last year or so. There isn't paper or pens in the staterooms anymore. I have RCI and Carnival pens. I guess I better quit using them since they're now collectors items.:rolleyes:

Funny......our pen drawer is full of various pens but our "daily" use pen is the blue Carnival one. I think there are two in there. All the others might as well be thrown away.

WOW, I'm rich! On my desk right now, I can see FIVE of the Carnival Blue Barrel pens, and silly me,,,I've been throwing them in the can when they quit writing. (Usually LONG before the ink supply is exhausted.) :mad: I've probably got a few more of 'em in my luggage, and in my wife's desk. Can't wait to cash in! :D

I have one red pen and about 30 blue pens. I love writing with them because the grip is so comfortable. Whenever we're on a ship, I make a point of going to Guest Services and asking for a pen. I'm usually given two or three at a time.

Tried asking at guest services for a pen once. Got a pin.

Sounds silly, but I love the Carnival pens. Only downside of my last cruise was me forgetting to grab a few of them.

I have three or four of each color. On the last few cruises there was not a pin in the cabin. Or a Carnival note pad.

I love picking up pens from cruises, hotels, destinations etc. When I casually pick one up to use at home it provides me with pleasant vacation memories. My supply is getting low. Guess. It is time for another cruise.
