Craps strategy advice

I want to play craps on my upcoming cruise and seeking a bit of advice on the three methods of play I am considering. Somewhere around 17 years ago I learned craps on a $.25 table in Biloxi and had a blast learning, drinking crown and coke all night, and walking away with some money in my pocket. I have not really played since then. I think RCCL will have $5 minimums and single odds. I have heard one night they have double odds.

Method One: pass line, pass odds, and place 6&8 throughout roll

Method Two: pass line, pass odds, two come bets throughout roll with odds

Method Three: don’t pass line, don’t pass odds, and two don’t come bets throughout roll with odds

My bankroll is $300 for the cruise. I definitely want to stick with a simple method so I can hopefully play a couple days of the cruise and not walk away. Thanks for any advice you can provide!

I am not a big gambler but I love craps if I can find a $5 table. I only play the pass line and pass odds. Not very exciting but I have found you can stay at the table a long time unless you are really unlucky and you have an excellent chance to actually come out a little ahead which is most unusual in a casino!

The only advice I feel strongly about is to not play the "don't pass" line. The fun part of craps is the way everyone roots for each other during the roll. EXCEPT for the person who bets don't pass!

Method #2. If you are going to play, you might as well lower the house edge as much as possible and method 2 is the best way to do it. Also always bet max odds, it is the only bet in the casino(except a really good pay table on VP) where there is a zero house edge. With the three bets out, you will not get bored and can drink as much as you care to, not much thinking making the same bets. Have fun, but more important, make some money.
