Explorer of the seas - refurbishment

Recommended Posts

They had freestyle machines but they were forever breaking down. I did use them as much as possible though and bar staff were happy to fill up my cup when they were broken.

Thanks very much for the replies.

Anyone know what diet soft drinks are available in the bars?

Cheers

If you are referring to what would be available from the bars with one of the beverage packages, then it would be Diet Coke.

Anybody on board before June could you see if there is WiFi signal in the chapel for me please? We are getting married in 53 days and would like to broadcast it to family back home. Also if you can let me know what the internet is likr that would be appreciated. Thanks :-)

Has anyone tried the new restaurants on the ship and would you recommend them? Thanks

We did Giovanni's for lunch and I personally was not that impressed considering we paid extra to eat there.

I had the Lasagne as a main and it was so over salted it wasn't too pleasant. I felt like i need a gallon of water afterwards.. but the desserts were excellent.

My partner had the veal meatballs and i tried them and of course i wish i had them lol.

Hi

Sorry if this has been discussed before - I have tried a search and also looked at the RCI site but can't find the answer to my question :o!!

It's some time since our only cruise on RCI - we had a grand suite and could have complimentary drinks and nibbles in the Concierge Lounge from 6pm to 8pm. We are shortly going on Explorer in a grand suite and wanted to know if this was still the case?

Many thanks.

Was on Explorer last week, and the concierge lounge hours were 5-8.30. The staff in there were just wonderful too. But it did get very very busy in there every night and seats were scarce. We went in around 7 and managed to get seats- just a heads up for you- enjoy your cruise!
