If we're delayed at Bayport?????

Sailing out of Bayport the end of next month on Emerald Princess. If there are delays, what is done with the people waiting to board? If a ship is late arriving, do we have to wait for the ship to dock and passengers disembark before we allowed to enter the port facility?

That was the case for us last year. We received emails advising us to delay coming to the port. Those who decided to not heed the emails ended up sitting in their cars along the access road to the port.

So if I decide to use Princess transfers, does the bus simply not leave the airport until it's good to go or do they also just wait in line outside of the facility?
