neptune18 Posted January 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2015 Just booked Getaway with the UB promo. Is there an amount of time you have to wait between drinks? If I try something, don't like it and spill it out can I immediately order a new drink? Thanks.
triptolemus Posted January 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2015 No, no "time limit" between drinks.

don't-use-real-name Posted January 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 22, 2015 Wouldn't there be an immediate limit - like ordering two or more drinks at a time ?
LrgPizza Posted January 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2015 Wouldn't there be an immediate limit - like ordering two or more drinks at atime ? No. I've done it before. As long as the bartender is willing, there is no electronic system that prevents it.

hawkeyetlse Posted January 22, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) No. I've done it before. As long as the bartender is willing, there is no electronic system that prevents it.I agree that it's up to the bartender. If you're sitting alone at the bar and ask for a beer and a shot that are obviously both for you, they will probably be fine with that. If you ask for two piña coladas to take away, they will probably refuse (or they will ask for the other person's card to check for the sticker, and they may even want to see the other person, in person). Rare Traveling Fools Posted January 23, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Choose a watering hole and on day one, use both of your cards for the first couple of drinks, spend some time engaging with the bartenders, and tip them in cash. I have found this simplifies everything.

faith4keep Posted January 23, 2015 #10 Share Posted January 23, 2015 We've actually done exactly what you're saying. We ordered some drink of the menu that we haven't tried. 2 sips in, we hated it. Asked for something else. Bartender made us something new (but he also poured out our first drink). He didn't seem annoyed but then again, we had been using him as our bartender exclusively the whole cruise!
beerman2 Posted January 23, 2015 #11 Share Posted January 23, 2015 We had 2 bartenders on the Epic that would leave 1 card open for the wife and I. It was nice only having to sign 1 receipt at the end rather than every time we ordered a drink. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

neptune18 Posted January 23, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Thanks guys. I'll have to find a "daytime" and "nighttime" bartender.
