Ft. Lauderdale Allure Embarkation

Recommended Posts

the Allure is at the best terminal we've sailed from, you should be fine with a walker, even in the crowds. The port will be very busy all day so getting there early does not always help much but usually 10:30 or 11 AM is the earliest time they'll let you on the ship. You could always get in early and just be sitting in the waiting area but we've never been any earlier than that.

When sailing Allure and Oasis have usually boarded around 11:30.

They board by C&A status - suites, pinnacles, diamond plus go first, then diamond, etc.

Not sure if there is special boarding for handicapped. Have seen people on crutches, with canes, etc. just seated with their family in the general boarding areas.

Would definitely suggest ordering a wheelchair - there is quite a distance to walk, including up ramps, which might be difficult with a walker.
