Table for 2 on navigator?

My husband and I really prefer a table for 2. Is this possible with anytime dining. We don't mind waiting. Thanks for advice.

Yes, definitely possible. We had a table for two in MTD on Navigator and had the same table and servers each night, but we made resevations. You may not get the same table each night if you just show up, but if that is not important to you it won't matter! Enjoy your trip!

Yes...MTD is the easiest way to eat alone. They do have 2-tops in either Traditional seating times, but as another said...MTD defaults to just YOUR party.

 

You do not need a reservation.

yes. with reg dining there are very few 2 tops available.

 

reservations are encouraged but never required for MTD. either way, you will almost certainly end up in the same section with the same waitstaff, unless you specifically ask for another location/team.

One thing to keep in mind, in our one experience with MTD, YES, we did have a table for 2 each night. But the tables were so close together -- think maybe a foot between them -- that it wasn't exactly intimate dining!

 

There may be other configurations on other ships (this was Serenade), but we didn't investigate because we didn't mind. We had some very nice conversations with those seated beside us.

Sounds good. Actually we will be on the Adventure of the Sea. I imagine it would be similar to other MDR's.

We use traditional dining in the MDR. We ask our travel agent to request a table for 2 and she comes through every time.

We were able to get table for 2 on last couple of cruises and we always do late /main seating. Tables are pretty small and real close to other tables normally. Prefer specialty dinning for about 1/2 our dinners
