Rare Kinkacruiser Posted January 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2015 New ad on TV (Trivago) caught my eye, so I took a look. It's brilliant for choosing that pre-cruise stay in Sydney.

It is good because you get to compare the various sites and their prices. Makes it nice and easy.
Kiwi Kruzer Posted February 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2015 It better be a great service as it will have to pick up commissions on lots of bookings to pay for all the TV advertising it does. The ads are run pretty heavily in NZ as well. At first I thought it was advertising a dating agency ..

Find that I can get a better room and inclusions booking direct but YMMV.

They also often have limits on how many rooms they can sell for the hotel.
Kiwi Kruzer Posted February 1, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 1, 2015 They also put the rooms on that the hotel has trouble selling, and get rid of them at real cheap prices. We had one in Sth America..... real bargain, but so so noisy ....opposite a staff entry door and they all used to come through , let the door go and it would crash shut.....The rest of the Hotel was full of course ....so they could not change us.:rolleyes:yeah right.:D
Rare MicCanberra Posted February 2, 2015 #8 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Always bring ear plugs although that only shuts out so much noise.:(
