Rare BillOh Posted February 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2015 A lot of people booked that one in hopes it would be the last one and there would be a big party, They were right. I thought about joining in the day it was made official. While I was on the phone with C&A the price of the room I wanted went up $400.

poncho1973 Posted February 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) This had pretty much been assumed for a long time and was confirmed months ago. This article is like 3 months old. Edited February 4, 2015 by poncho1973
Janet524 Posted February 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Sovereign class were amazing ships at the time way ahead of what the other lines had. How true! Our first cruise was on Song of Norway in 1986 and we thought she was a beautiful ship. Our next cruise was on the brand new Sovereign of the Seas. Our reaction when we boarded was OMG!!! A 4 story atrium! How is this possible??? Fast forward 25+ years and there's the Allure, Oasis and Quantum that make the Sovereign class seem "quaint." But let's not forget they were the break through ships of their time.
