Last summer, the Caribbean Princess stayed in the Caribbean. It's heading to Europe this summer. Apparently the experiment of leaving a ship did not work out.

May starts the beginning of potential raining weather and later hurricanes. Princess moves their ships to Alaska and Europe. Follow the money.

Have you thought of Alaska? I know that it is not the Caribbean, but it is so beautiful. I could believe how beautiful and different it is. If I did not have to fly, I would go again.

There's currently a glut of availability in the Caribbean among all of the cruise lines: Princess and other lines are heavily discounting fares. Expect fewer ships in the Caribbean in the future. Princess can command much higher prices by repositioning ships elsewhere.

Wow. Yeah. Money talks.

 

We're western NYers. We can even consider Alaska this time of year. She's looking for beaches and sunshine.

 

She'll find a cruise I'm sure. I just wish I hadn't told her how great CB was. ;)
