Options for a family of 4

We are looking to take a cruise on Norwegian Escape in 2016.

We've always sailed HAL, but our grandkids are getting to the age where they want to play in splash pools and water slides.

I am confused by the options I see on the deck plans.

Do all the balcony staterooms (or oceanview cabins) that sleep 4 have upper berths?

My daughter does not want her kids sleeping in upper berths. I had hoped the staterooms had sleeper couches that would open into a double or queen bed.

I know the ship is under construction - I was wondering if Norwegian Breakaway or Getaway had similar layouts in their cabins.

Thanks!

The family ocean view staterooms Category 01 on Deck 5 for Breakaway / Getaway are great for families (or friends). This same category is available on Escape. They are very reasonably priced especially with the current promo.

Couch in "living area" that turns into a bed, separate bed, bed that comes down from ceiling above the couch if you need to sleep 5. Bathroom with sink with two faucets - most if not all have tub/shower combination. Two closets, one normal size, one smaller.
