Final on board bill

We always use the kiosks during the trip just to make sure we aren't over doing it. It is easy to forget how quickly things can add up, especially in the casino and with drinks. So we keep track of it even though we try to not worry and just enjoy the vacation. It wouldn't be fun to come home and be broke for a month, either. It is also good to keep up with it just in case something is showing up that you didn't purchase.

There are kiosks on most ships that you can check your account through out the trip at any time.

It is a good idea to always check your charges to make sure something has not been charged in error to your account. We usually check once a day before we call it a night or every 2 days. Also prevents "sticker shock" at the end of the cruise.

An the morning before you get off the ship are you able to see your charges on your bill. And if so do you have to request it or do they bring to you or leave under your door or how does it work

Usually, but not always, they will slide it under your door or place it in your "mailbox" outside your cabin door early on debarkation morning. You can go to one of the kiosks and print your own copy though anytime you want throughout the cruise for free.

And remember that if you are paying with a debit card, you may incur "hold" charges on top of your actual charges. The "hold" amounts will drop off, but not immediately.

The kiosk's are great for checking your balance, and adding cash to your account. We try to pay it even by the end of the last night. That way our balance is zero in the morning.

You can also check it on the T.V. in your room.

we were on the elation last week and the tv didn't have anything on it. no menus and no way to check your sail and sign.

on the fantasy class ships, the ones I have been on, doesn't have the interaction tv.:)

I was told carnival room steward hand deliveries it to you. Knocks on your room door in morning and gives to you

Is this true???

I have never had it happen either. I have always either had it slipped under my door or in the mail slot outside the door. They deliver them too early in the morning to be waking everyone up with a knock. On one cruise, I didn't get it at all. I had to go to the kiosk and print it out before disembarking.

I was on Splendor 2 weeks ago and the TV bill was accurate with charges appearing quickly and OBC was reflected. I was surprised how quickly the charges posted. My bar drinks and steakhouse charges were posted the same night when I went back to my cabin.

Although I have not had it happen to me, I have heard that some late night charges that were made were not on the final statement, but they were on the amount charged to a credit card. I am not one who stays up really late the last night, but I know others do and may or may not have had that happen.

We have also had our statement in the mailbox or under the door, but never had anyone personally hand it to either of us. I also check the TV during the week to see what the charges are in total.
