Ab Ovo Posted September 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2005 The Queen Mary 2 is in New York City, Friday, 02 September. Check her out via the Empire State Building zoom cam: http://www.*****.com/7a9dh For a feeling of being on her, great photographs and story from the maiden voyage, check out: http://www.thewaywewent.com/qm2mv3.html For her daily position (and the QE2 as well), check out: http://www.cunardships.org :)
Out2See Posted September 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2005 How do you get the Northwest view on the cam. All I see are choices for the South?
iceman666 Posted September 2, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2005 Try this web cam as it shows the QM2 berth - she's there right now. http://www.wirednewyork.com/webcam/default.htm
Ab Ovo Posted September 3, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted September 3, 2005 Sorry. :( Was at the ship all day; incoming friends off early via Self Help hooking up with friends sailing that afternoon made for a bawdy & rowdy lunch at that place across the street where the crew goes. Don't think I could do that again! :) I've just been wrestling with the ESB zoom cam; I can't get it to do what I want it to either. The wirednewyork site is good; something is there now. Pied Piper Travel webcam is good, on days in real time when a ship is in port. Kroooz-cams.com lists many cams. Have a look.
Rotterdam Posted September 3, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2005 Ab Ovo - do you remember the bar across from the NYC piers that the crew went to - the Olympic I believe - what a place!
