Disneycruisers Posted February 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I have a Balcony booked right now but for $120pp I can up grade to a mini suite. After reading the NCL web site it looks like the only difference is 10 sq/ft- can anyone tell me if there is any other differences? This will be on the Getaway. hogie23 Posted February 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2015 You get a bigger bathroom ( double sink) and Shower with multiple jets.
Disneycruisers Posted February 22, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted February 22, 2015 You get a bigger bathroom ( double sink) and Shower with multiple jets. If that is all I get for $120pp I will stick with my balcony room.
hogie23 Posted February 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2015 The only reason I might consider it for that price is if you get the M6 with large balcony.
Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted February 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I also thought a mini suite was not worth it for the little extra room and a bit larger bathroom. I don't need a double sink in the ships bathroom as its tight anyways for two people to fit and the little extra room inside isn't really much for two people, if you have three/four people in the stateroom, then I say go for it. Definitely not worth the $240 that I would have to pay just for a double sink...lol. $240 will pay for some of the nicer dinners!
paulanddarnell Posted February 22, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I did do the upgrade for $60 on the Getaway, but I found a room that had a king bed. So for the king bed, a bit bigger shower, and 20 extra sq feet, I thought the upgrade was worth it. We will see!
Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted February 22, 2015 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Hi Disneycruisers , agree, it can pay for your tipping and a couple of dinners too.

Were you on a different ship? Depending on which balcony suite category the sqft difference might be closer to 30ft which is enough to notice.
