Carnival $17 Martini Tasting

We did this on the Freedom in 2013 and enjoyed it very much. Does anyone know if they are still offering this? I googled it but don't see anyone talking about it recently. Specifically asking for our upcoming cruise on Splendor in April. Thanks!

They had it on the Miracle last week. They also had the sign up all week, so I don't know if you couldn't just do it anytime?

We had it on board the Breeze over Thanksgiving which was at a regular bar. I really like the martini tasting at the Alchemy Bar on Liberty and I hope we will do a tasting on the Conquest at the Alchemy Bar next Thanksgiving.

I did it for the first time on the Glory a few weeks ago. Delicious!

Thanks for the reply's :D, I know when we did it last it was just on 1 night during a certain time frame. Glad to see that it is still available. I haven't had the privilege of trying Cheers since my wife does not drink enough to justify it. :(

You get a choice of four mini martinis from a selection of eight different flavors, I believe. The martini tasting I have had not at Alchemy Bars are ok, but the Alchemy Bar mini martini tastings are yummy! My DH and I split one tasting usually, but maybe next cruise on the Conquest I might have my own:D!

 

There is a four hour window posted in the Fun Times that this is available. It's fun and a great way to try new drinks without getting totally blotto:eek:!

I was on Splendor a month ago and I did the Martini Tasting. I enjoyed it. I especially liked the chipotle martini. They offer the Martini Tasting on the 5th floor aft at the El Mohito Bar. It is past the casino and the Promenade, next to the piano bar. The tasting is still $17.00. Enjoy it.:cool:

My fav was the chipotle martini as well! I ordered bottles of pineapple chipotle syrup from Monin so I could make the martinis for my friends at home!

You can do the martini tasting (flight) on any ship. The Ships with the Alchemy bar have the Martini mixology class. That was so much fun.

Here are a couple of pictures from our martini tasting on the Valor in February. It was enough to give me a nice little buzz but then I also drink vey, very rarely (really only on vacation) so it doesn't take much to get me a little buzzed. I will definitely be doing it again on the Liberty in a couple of weeks.
