Cameras on Regatta

Hi Everyone,

 

We are sailing on Regatta from Miami on 28th March and I need a new digital camera for the cruise.Can anyone tell me if digital cameras are available to buy onboard.If so,does anyone know if it is generally more cost effective to buy onboard rather than in the UK.

Heathrow T5 has some good prices in D****s (can't advertise). you'd get full UK warranty too.:)

Many people here in the States use

and they will, if you go to bottom of page, quote a price based on UK$.

 

They ship anywhere, with a few exceptions. I have relatives who talk about making a trip to the "promised land" which is their NY store.

 

Have fun browsing, but notice that you can't online order at certain times.

And to answer your question, Oceania ships do not have cameras to sell.

 

But I'll bet you can find them in Florida.

Thanks for the replies so far.We are flying out of T3 at Heathrow.Whatever,it seems we will need to buy before we leave the UK

I've never seen any type of camera for sale on an Oceania ship.

 

More to the point, the shops on the smaller ships such as the Regatta are very small.

...expect Oceania logowear, a smattering of resort wear, and a few shelves of sundries (think toothpaste, toothbrush, brush, comb, suntan lotion, hair gel etc.).

 

Plus as many perfumes, colognes, watches and jewelry as they can fit

 

Oddly, they almost always carry a tiny selection of candy bars, too.

Our experience on other lines has been that the photographer's department

has had a selection of cameras to buy in addition to the onboard photographs.
