Carnival Breeze question

Haven't been on Carnival in about 5 years - but considering the Breeze for our annual winter cruise 2016.

We enjoy the casino in the evening but wondering if it is still smokey? We have enjoyed another cruise line and its non smoking policy in the casino. However, the Breeze goes to Grand Turk and in 25 cruises - it's one island we have not visited.

The Breeze looks lovely and having a casino that is smoke free will seal the deal!

Thanks and happy cruising!

I don't gamble but just walking through I did find it to be too smokey especially in the evenings. I really hate the design of the ship that you have to walk through to get from the theatre to Ocean Plaza or the comedy club. You can also smell it before you even walk through the doorway. Ventilation is a huge issue.

Was on the Breeze recently and avoided the casino as much as possible.

There is a very small non smoking section, that is still filled with smoke.

Nothing against smokers, just not for me or my lungs.

We were on the Breeze in January and were in the casino every night. Although it didn't seem especially smoky around me (I only play tables) I found that we did smell of smoke when we got back to our cabin. After we got home and unpacked the luggage smelled smoky. I sprayed it with Febreeze and left them open a week or so. Unfortunately it is pretty much full smoking in the casino.

is there no access to the lanai so you can avoid the Casino altogether to get to all the other places on this deck

The only way to avoid the casino is to either go up to Deck 6 or out onto the outside deck (port only since starboard is smoking) and then re-enter.

I also notice my clothes smell of smoke after several pass-through's and it is not pleasant.

The casino is not smoke free but it does have a non smoking section.

The problem with a "non-smoking section" is that the whole casino still gets smoky. It's like having a non-peeing section in the pool.
