Late night flight out of FLL. What to do?

Hi. I am leaving miami cruise port to FLL airport. I heard we can drop our bags off as long as we are back by 5 to pick them up?

 

 

What can we do for the day?!?!

There is another thread just down the board with the exact same question, for a 7 pm flight. Many suggestions out there. Rental car. Cruise line excursions. Many other possibilities.

Rent a car for the day and the trip from Miami to FLL - put the bags in the trunk and then go where you want and do what you want. South Beach, Hollywood boardwalk, lunch, people watching, art galleries, shopping, etc.
