This looked far more welcoming than the couch setup the Pride had in the same area.

It must be near lunch time

I was surprised with with number of tourists in town that this wasn't be utilized

I felt sorry for this crew - even though they were in the shade it couldn't have been comfortable standing in the heat/humidity in full uniform plus life vest

Sometimes it can be helpful to take pictures of landmarks so you can use them to navigate your way back.

Thank you for your photos and thoughts. I am sorry to hear you had to "hobble" around but glad you could find a good Sangria etc to help ease the discomfit. :D

Oddly the need to hobble went away shortly after the TA portion started.:o

As I was still in hobble mode I stayed aboard again. We were in Terre de Haute.

Today it was Windstar that was able to use their marina (and whatever that inflatable yellow contraption was).

People off to booze and snorkel, or have they made it safer and changed it to snorkel and booze?

Not much activity for the "secret" hot tub this afternoon.

Tender service, they never would let me ride outside the cabin.

A relaxing afternoon at the Skybar.

Basseterre. Last year I went around the island by bus and train. This year I hobbled my way to a mild bit of dehydration and heat stroke. I was supposed to meet some of the crew for lunch but the heat + my relative immobility made it probably the worst best sounding idea I had on the trip.

We were shadowed by Windstar and we were docked next to another floating town.

It's always interesting to see the "high ground" in the Caribbean.

The best ship in Basseterre that day

Through this gateway was enough rum to keep Jack Sparrow happy for a lifetime.
