MilliesMom Posted March 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2015 I can't remember whether or not the comforter/blankets and or pillows have down in them. If yes, who should I contact to be sure they are removed from our cabin? I have allergies to down. It's been a couple of years since we cruised, so am not sure now if I had to ask for them to be removed or if there was no issue. Thank you for your help. Astro Flyer Posted March 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2015 No issue. No down. I've had the same experience & preferring down pillows I request their "feather" pillows.
MilliesMom Posted March 16, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted March 16, 2015 No issue. No down. Great, thank you. I've had the same experience & preferring down pillows I request their "feather" pillows. The regular pillows in the cabin are foam or synthetic then? Really appreciate all of the help. Don't like to leave these things up to chance. cb at sea Posted March 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2015 It's a non-allergenic fiber filled pillow....not "foam".

eqj60 Posted March 16, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2015 On our last several cruises, on Star, Ruby and Royal, there were at least 2 feather/down pillows on the bed. Even though it was stated on my Personalizer that I have a severe allergy, they were on the bed when we embarked. Each time our steward quickly took them away & brought synthetic pillows. We had the comforter checked also. Would check first thing as soon as you get into cabin to be sure.
