Great picture Dave. New Zealand and Australia are two places on my wish list.;)

Bryan

We took the NZ - Hawaii leg and if we had to do it again, we'd do the Aus - NZ instead.

NZ is a beautiful place!

Lots of great scenery in both countries.

We did NZ by train/bus for 3 weeks last year and enjoyed revisiting places by ship this time (we did both legs on the Mercury). Link to photos in my signature.

Agreed! Great panorama shot of the crater, Dave. When we took the city tour up there last year a big rain shower came over

  • 5 weeks later...
I meant the previous two pictures for the port thread. This picture was taken in Anan. I took an excursion while on the Star.

Picture time ~ what camera/lens did you use for this picture? It's fantastic.

Silly, isn't it, that after a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise, one of my favorite pictures was one I took at sunrise in Miami, just after we'd docked, with the Victory pulling in ahead of us!

I guess I will join the party...

Took this one on the Disney Magic in Key West in January of this year.

Timing is everything!

Doesn't matter if you have an $8000 DSLR or your Lieca D-Lux, it all boils down to "f/8 and be there!"

Good composition and good photo!

Not so funny ;) .

I wasn't having a Psychic Friends moment, I was looking at the embedded image tags to see what settings you used and it includes the camera model.

Just my curiosity and irrelevant to the fact that it's a great picture.

Interesting, haven't seen that on a Vbulletin message board before. Probably because I use the WYSIWYG editor.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Took this photo of the QE2 from the QV in January 08 on the tandem Atlantic crossing. The first Transatlantic crossing for the Queen Victoria.
