BobKat406 Posted March 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2015 Just got off and loved everything about this ship! Enjoyed the Dynamic dining. Food was great. Service (with one exception) was excellent. Lines to get into things can be a pain in the butt but why worry over it you're on vacation, relax and converse with others in line. The shows are awesome! Enjoyed them all. Our weather was beautiful in the Bahamas and even made CoCoCay! Was not nice coming home to snow!!! Any questions - I will try to answer. derrick22 Posted March 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2015 Thanks for posting. Lines? Did you have reservations? We board next Sunday and I can't wait.
Yorkvillain Posted March 21, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2015 Good to hear. Did they ever open the roof at the indoor pool?
BobKat406 Posted March 21, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted March 21, 2015 I had reservations for shows and dinner. We waited in line for Sonic Odyssey because we wanted the earlier show. Got in - no problem. Just had to wait until guests with reservations were seated first. North Star and Bumper cars - you can't reserve so you will wait in line no matter what time you go. You may be in the front of the line or not depending on how early you get there before it opens. Times are in the compass each day. There were lines at the restaurants - they were minimal. Usually if you got there when they first opened - just a matter of seating each group. They never opened the roof on the indoor pool. People were opening the windows on each side of the deck but the pool remained covered. Solarium roof does not retract so they don't ever open that one. It was cold 1st day at sea, cool on 2nd day. Returning it was chilly and overcast both days. The only days that would have made sense were the 3 days on land as the weather was quite nice. However, the reports said possible showers (and it never rained) but it could be why they chose not to retract the roof. Have fun - I'm sure you will love it - just remind yourself that you are on vacation and no problem is too big (unless you are late back to the ship and they leave without you!) If you have to stand in line - strike up conversations with those around you - met some interesting people in line!

BobKat406 Posted March 23, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted March 23, 2015 cruisincons--I have them all but haven't scanned them. I will try to scan the daily planners and post if I get the time (between work and school not a lot of free time). Is there something specific or just wanted to see what the schedule was for each day?

Interested to know exactly what beer and wine is included if so. Thanks
BobKat406 Posted March 23, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted March 23, 2015 I did not have a drink package as I couldn't justify the cost. Brought 2 bottles of wine on-board and as a casino VIP member got free drinks in the casino each night so did not feel it necessary to purchase one. I will try to scan the daily planners and post if I get the time (between work and school not a lot of free time). Is there something specific or just wanted to see what the schedule was for each day? Sorry for the delayed response!! Can maybe you do just the first day? I'm travelling with two teens and another family with three kids, and it's nice to know when the kids programs have their meetings and such. I'm happy we don't have to worry about getting into waiver lines; that was a always a pain on the first day. The kids want to get on the Flowrider as soon as they can! haha Glad we can do those from our room now. Less wristbands is good too. Those were annoying. Thanks so much!! CruisinCons Posted March 24, 2015 #14 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Oh my goodness you are awesome!! Don't worry about scanning; that was really helpful. Of course, we just made reservations for Starwater at 8:15 day 1. Our showing later in the cruise was cancelled, so I had to reschedule to the only one left, which is the same time as the Teen Meet & Greet. Sigh. Luckily our dinner reservation was early enough to not interfere with Starwater. I'm amazed there is a curfew - I don't remember the kids ever having one before. Guessing that it's 17 & under? BobKat406 Posted March 24, 2015 Author #15 Share Posted March 24, 2015 The curfew states its for all Junior cruisers (under 18) not accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.
