Va. Plumber Posted March 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2015 Thought the premium seating was best. Think you miss a lot in the balcony. the show is all around you on main floor. Try to get seat (not assigned) facing inward. You'll wind up with crook in neck otherwise.
brookie848 Posted March 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2015 When we were on the Epic last year, we had regular seats to the show. We were in the Haven and were seated prior to other guests being shown in the theater, but our seats were the "regular" seats -- not the premium. If you want the premium seats, pay for them. The concierge is not going to be able to seat you in seats you did not pay for. We were on the ship again a few weeks ago and saw the show again, this time in premium seats. We thought the premium seats were worth it.
cruisencrazy Posted April 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2015 Def get premium seats. We were advised to sit in the balcony from people who were on the floor for another show. We feel we had the best seats. I'm short so I had to "scooch" forward a bit, but a lot of the show is up high and it was wonderful to be up high with them. The low stuff was also easy to watch. Hope that helps you. The cheap seats sit underneath the upper level balcony, so have a somewhat obstructed view.
TrumpyNor Posted April 11, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2015 We paid extra to have the premium seats on the floor, but I actually regretted it - I didn't like to have to look directly upwards to see the "action" in the air above our heads (not good for my neck....). McDMan Posted June 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Can anyone please tell me the format/layout of the premium balcony seats? We are a family of 5 and was wondering how the seating would work? Would everyone get the same view meaning that the balcony premium seating are all right next to the rim on the 1st row? Or are they tables in which only those seated closest the balcony rim that would get the best view? Thanks!
motleyfan Posted June 25, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Which seats are better? The premium seating for the haven concierge assisted seating? I personally love the premium I didn't sit in the balcony but after the show I thought to myself I'm glad I didn't lol
funpig Posted June 30, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 30, 2015 The premium seats are both the 1st level floor seats AND the 2nd level balcony seats. Your choice, if you show up early enough. If you sit on the floor, the show is right in front and above you. If you are in the balcony, you look down on the action. Both views are unobstructed. We had the balconey and liked it a lot. If you are on the floor, you and your food may get sprayed by water and man sweat when the man in the bathtub does his trapese routine. The regular/cheap seats are on the first level and underneath the balconey and behind the premium floor seats. Your view will be obstructed by the premium floor people and the balcony. If you have to pay, it is worth it to pay extra for premium.
