legal drinking age for a Bermuda voyage?

The drinking age of 21 and over sailing from North America is very clear on Celebrity's website.

If you saw otherwise, it should have been reported.

From Celebrity's Alcohol Policy (website):

"In certain circumstances where local laws permit or require, Celebrity Cruises may modify this policy..."

Not too sure how clear that really is?

If your original departure port is from North America, the minimum drinking age is 21.

If your original departure port is from any other continent, the minimum drinking age is 18.

Note that if you have a birthday while on the cruise that will put you over the legal drinking age, you may get a new Sea Pass issued at Guest Services as long as you provide a government-issued ID such as a driver’s license.

This does not change even if your ship docks somewhere where the minimum drinking age is different during the cruise.

crap,,, That sucks... I dont want her drinking!

Hope she dont find this out

Then X seems to be a good choice. But you might also want to sacrifice a goat to the gods.;)

Barring the goat, that train is coming down the tracks - stand in the way at your peril.

That's exactly how it is on other cruise lines - after a certain time at night

(11:00PM on NCL for example), certain clubs are 18+.

Drinking age doesn't change - that is ALWAYS 21+.

18 to 20 can drink beer and wine on NCL with parents permission (in international waters).

Aren't you happy we were never 18.....lol, lol. :p ;) :D

When I was 18 the legal drinking age was 18! My recollection was the age change was justified as being because of auto accidents among young drivers.

On sailings from North America, drinking age on board is 21. On sailings from other locations, the drinking age on board is 18.

My DS is annoyed, since he will only be 20 during our next cruise. He enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner a few times in Europe.
