Whats the weather like in Sydney area in March?

Recommended Posts

A quick search for a weather site like accuweather will give you weather history info. Keep in mind March in Australia is much like September in the US, particularly in relation to California weather. The north of Australia is very hot and tropical.

Hi March is still usually hot in Sydney. Temps last march were somewhere between 25-31 degrees centigrade, and there were quite a few storms with heavy rain at times. So bring sunscreen and an umbrella. Sydney is a great place to visit, sailing into Sydney Harbour with the bridge and opera house is very special. Hope this helps a bit. Denise.

;)

March is usually a good time to visit Sydney the sea is still warm, but the hot humid conditions experienced in February have eased:) Usualy my favourite time in this wonderful city, unfortunately this year wasn't as good as usual.

I was in Sydney mid March of this year, waiting to sail out on Voyager, and found the weather comfortable, though a bit wet.

It sat in the low 20's C, with the need for a light jacket of an evening. Master 6 felt the cold a bit more, and wore a jacket most mornings and late afternoons. Definitely arm yourself with a hat for when the sun is out (it really does pack a punch even when the weather is cool), and an umbrella for those rainy days.
