Up sell on grand mid balcony to mini guarantee

Just received an up sell $249.00 American per person to go from mid balcony to mini guarantee on Grand princess 10 day pacific coastal. Is this a good deal or not?

I'm not sure what a "mid balcony" is, but if you have one on Caribe deck, I'd keep it. To me, the extra space inside a minisuite isn't worth $50/day and the balcony size is pretty comparable. I'd rather spend that money on martinis or fun stuff ashore. It's not like the minisuite comes with any perks (besides more square footage and a glass of indifferent sparkling wine upon boarding).

We are currently in B401. After looking at the options we decided that it wasn't worth the extra cost. Spend the money on the extras.

I think the mini suites are fantastic. Here's a video that was posted for one on the Emerald Deck.

You will probably end up with an uncovered mini on Dolphin deck.

As noted above, if your reg balcony is on Caribe deck, Keep it and your money!!!

I think the cabin where you are is going to be great. The guarantee mini, who knows? Good call staying with the Baja midship balcony.
