Thank you for the review. I'm really enjoying it!

We did this itinerary on the Freedom last summer. So sorry you missed Grand Turk!

You have a very beautiful family and seem like so much fun to be around! I love that you drink rumchata with your coffee in the morning, I wish I was that adventurous.

Please thank E for his service to our country!!!

He deserves all the naps he wants! :)

Once on board we learned we would be taken to an area that would have a ship wreck to snorkel around, then we would go to another area to snorkel some more... then do the famous rope swing off the boat!!!

J was already having fun, a few kids from his club were on the same ship as us.

DSCN0420.JPG

P was enjoying his day also, with his friend.... ugg Im not ready for these years LOL

About 30mins after enjoying a relaxing cruise out to sea we arrived at our 1st destination.

You know who was the 1st in the water out of everyone right....

Nemo Jr was in next.

I rarely get in past my knees (I dont like my drinks to get salt water in them LOL), but thought it would be cool to see the shipwreck.

NoDlSnZZRZM5lv_wiMV6JJBVjUnXoVI8SRNOQ5nLnMdx=w443-h591-no

It was cool for about 10 seconds. But the waters were pretty rough. For every 10kicks I only moved what seemed like an inch... and backwards at that.

DSCN0387.JPG

Sadly after taking a couple pictures I headed back to the boat, I just kept getting water in my snorkel. That's No Fun! But getting back on the boat came to be an excursion in itself. With the waters so rough it kept pushing us towards the back of the boat. Then I kept letting kids go up before me, since they were struggling also.

Eventually, we all got back on board to head to our next spot. I grabbed a cup of rum punch or 2 and laid out after my swim.

Love it when were cruising together.

Then we came upon our 2nd stop... welcome to my home everyone lol!

P and his friend jumped off the boat together (hand in hand.. aww LOL) Then he found a pair of ray ban sunglasses. Which we made a joke that they were our friend Loris'... when we were in Punta Cana last year our friend was on a hobby cat and jumped off to swim and lost hers. We were diving for hours trying to find them LOL. Fast forward to back to this trip and they were one of gals from the boat. When she jumped in the glasses came off.

Off he goes again...

20150402_104006.jpg

This water was much calmer, infact I jumped in and swam around the boat this time.

Once was enough and I came back on the boat before they started the real fun....

20150402_110744.jpg

Rope Swinging! J was up 1st.

Looks like E tried to do a back flip.

P's turn.

16CrYiW6cRXWCUdd7viVDVNGwuaN6-QhgAwVjvR4NMxO=w788-h591-no

Heck even I took a few swings... not before a few "adjustments" were made as to not lost anything LOL

DSCN0433.JPG

We took over the boat with our group... literally!

DSCN0422.JPG

So backing up to Curacao, remember that platform I mentioned that people were jumping off of. Well J and his friends swam out to it and he slipped, thus scratching his arm all up, and bruising his face. It didnt show yesterday, but today it came out in full force. So when we asked him if his face hurt and he said no, we of course told him but its killing us (I know were so kind LOL) anyhow I told him to make a face like it was. But seriously it didnt hurt him, as he was having tons of fun on the rope swing. The belly flops were much more painful Im sure.

gdeGGk1FzeY0q75rZuSdsn7MNE1kmpIcwGkKmtj_6Iat=w332-h590-no

Once everyone on ship had done the swing a few times, It was time for lunch as we cruised back to dock.

cJJTXXVi0WBSrXh6x-7kJyQ9VAzEN88YniuZsUO3NS0Q=w1038-h584-no

Food was delish too and it went well with a few more Rum Punches...ok a lot of punches. A girl gets thirsty with all the swiming and swinging.

Thanks r all the hard work on the review!

What is meant by split bath?

Aww thanks, its really my pleasure I enjoy doing the review... gets me out of going to the gym LOL

Split bath means there are 2... sort of. 1door opens to the shower and sink, then another door in your stateroom (right next to the other part of the bathroom) opens to the toilet and another sink. Really helpful if you have a full cabi or 4adults.

Entertaining review! :D

Thank you, I try to keep it upbeat.

Did you notice which side the docked in all your ports port side or starboard? I am planning the same itinerary in December

Yes I did!, we docked on Port Side (if your looking at the front of the ship, its the left side LOL... I always get it confused.) for every dock. No clue how Grand Turk is though since we didnt port there.

Thank you for the review. I'm really enjoying it!

Welcome glad your enjoying it.

Aww Freedom was our 1st Carnival Cruise. Prior to the 2.0 upgrades. No worries on missing Grand Turk.. just means I have to cruise again LOL

Thank you for the compliment on the family... were fun at times... being back home has put attitudes back into place. Restriction and groundings are in full force... uggg no one told me about these teenage years LOL. Maybe I should do a couple shots of rumchatta now. lol.

Im not gonna mention to him about the naps... he does well just on his own. lol

Thanks for your awesome review! We're doing the same itinerary on Conquest in just a few days!:)

Two questions:

First, what was the taxi situation like on DR for Seavis? We're taking a different Seavis tour, and they gave us a special code word to make sure we get the right taxi. Based on other things I've read about the chaotic taxi situation there, I'm a little nervous!

Second, did you find Curaçao liquor cheaper in town? We're taking the Irie tour, too, and I had planned on just picking up a couple of bottles at the distillery. $16 doesn't sound too bad to me!

Awe, thankyou!

As for the taxi service, its not bad. There are tons of locals asking people which excursion you are on. Just tell them Seavis amd they point you in the right direction. You are in the middle of a parking lot where you port. So it's busses and taxis for miles. On the way back the same taxi takes you and the same people that they cram packed into that taxi lol. It is a rush rush situation but just keep all of your party together as it is busy amd easy to lose someone.

Liquor in Curacao, we were told by the Irie Bus driver not to buy at the distillery as its more expensive. But we didn't see that much of a difference of price maybe $2-3. So if you dont want to lug it around on the tour you can wait till you get back to the shops near port. Also most shops and the floating market to stay open till about 830-9pm we saw.

Have a great cruise!

Love your writing style! A (few hundred) pictures is worth a thousand words!

Chuckled out loud at your referral to 'the rat' (Disney). I see Coopertown airboats still has an albino snake to display - took my brother(from Seattle) there and they had one then...that was 20 years ago!

Sorry about your food bill at Oceans10 - that's quite a shock to most out of towners. We Miami people know better than to eat anywhere around Ocean Drive unless we're trying to really impress someone. Hope that 'Beer garita' was worth the $55. Anyway, South Beach is Miami's tourist mecca and the merchants know (and take advantage of) that. The photo of Miami from your sailaway - if you look all the way to the very right edge of the photo - the short brown building with the horizontal lines for each floor (the rest of the building is cut off in the photo)....that's where I worked for the past 11 years until I retired in Dec. I loved looking at the Breeze and all the other ships from my cube window on the 11th floor for 11 years. (Hmmm....11 seems to be my lucky number). We get last minute cruise offers from Carnival all the time....need to give them another try....it's been a few years. I moved to Miami from San Francisco back in 1990 (the 89 earthquake jolted me awake) just to be nearer warm water since I'm a diver. Thanks again. Sorry this post is all about me. Just relivin' the memories......

I love your review! Feels like I'm on the ship with you guys lol December 27th can't come fast enough!

See you onboard!! :D I'm also sailing on the Breeze for New Years. It's the 1st half of a B2B for us. Breeze is my favourite ship, can't wait to go again!!

20150401_205255.jpg

Beautiful pic Andrea. I'm loving your review, makes me even more impatient for my Breeze cruises (going on a B2B). Love your hubby, I have a friend who's a Marine so I know abut the no smiling thing, I think my friend smiles more than E though. Marines must all be the same, my buddy is also a real crack up when he's not working. Always making people laugh that one, love him. Your boys seems great as well. I'm so sorry you missed Grand Turk, I've been there 3 or 4 times and it's my favourite port. The beach, Jack's Shack, and the pool at Margaritaville are awesome!! :D Unfortunately, neither of our Breeze cruises go there. Oh well, I get to go again in December 2016!!

One question, how did you get away with bootlegging the pics taken by the ship's photographers? I've seen many people try and a lot (if not all) get sternly spoken to by the photo gallery staff, told not to do that, and are made to erase the pics they took of the pics (some are even watched to make sure they delete them). You must be very stealthy, it's a talent, I'm telling ya!! :D

Could you email me the Fun Times (can't really read them on here, sorry!)? I know it's a different itinerary but I would still find them useful. My email address is assumptionchic@gmail.com Thanks!! :D

Welcome, and thank you! Yes that bill is just a reminder that we ate there.. once is enough.. we are unimpressed LOL. Hubby and I keep debating on where to retire, he says Texas as that is where he is from, I say Florida, closer to more cruise options. (I think I'll win this one!) Oh and please loved reading about your trip down memory lane, thats half the fun of "meeting" people online!

Thanks for your review. It is bringing back fond memories of our cruise last year. Looking forward to the remainder of your pictorial.

Got up early to try and get a bit more up, busy weekend which is good, yet bad when you just want to be lazy lol.

Beautiful pic Andrea.

Actually took that with my phone, I was surprised it came out so well.

I'm loving your review, makes me even more impatient for my Breeze cruises (going on a B2B).

OH im so jelly!

Love your hubby, I have a friend who's a Marine so I know abut the no smiling thing,

UGG it kills me, I tell him (ok yell LOL) when your in uniform I get it, with the guys I understand. But when you with the family SMILE so when people look at the pics they dont wonder if you were having a horrible time. Or that you dont enjoy time with us LOL.

Most days the boys are great, but they are teens so I drink a lot LOL. So many people have told me Grand Turk is their favorite port. Hoping to cruise next spring break on the breeze again different itinerary but 1 stop is GT. SO maybe it will work out.

One question, how did you get away with bootlegging the pics taken by the ship's photographers? Exactly just stealthy, if you have a lookout it helps. Granted they are not the best bootleg quality as my thumb is usually in the pic or they are blury or have a shine on an area. Im not looking for a good bootleg just something to chuckle at when we get home.... really if they were something I wanted a good copy of I would buy it. But I dont need pics of E and my nose together. Or E holding my wedding ring out (ok maybe if we just got engaged that would be cute)

Could you email me the Fun Times (can't really read them on here, sorry!)? I know it's a different itinerary but I would still find them useful. My email address is assumptionchic@gmail.com Thanks!! :D

Click Here to View the Fun times.

I made them accessible on Google Docs, let me know if you have issues viewing them :)

Thanks for the review and all the pics, my mouth waters every time I see the food porn!!

We leave on the Breeze July 4th and I booked the same excursions that you guys did, so your pictures and reviews were helpful.

Awesome, have a great time!!!

Andrea, just wanted to let you know you're famous! I was just reading a press release about the new lower price internet package on CCL and you're quoted.

I knew I would be famous some time, I would like to thank all the little people... actually no I wanna thank myself since I book all our vacations. THanks for sharing! how neat!

***HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, to all you daddies!!***

E was haveing such a great time he even took a selfie of himself!

20150402_124458.jpg

So boys how did you like this excursion.... the smiles says it all! It got rave reviews.

20150402_130443.jpg

aww so breath taking.. I wanna go back.

JlG0FSYWTw6kABvCg1c4npnkAH73jh-TzcKBNNzLZUU4=w1038-h584-no

Everyone was in a great mood going back... see told ya the rum punch was GOOD!

20150402_130517.jpg

Taxi's back were few and far between. So we started walking as a group. Then flagged a taxi down, where we crammed in like sardines. Which made for fun times and lots of laughter... except for E.. who was worried that we wouldnt get to shop soon and he would miss out on an Aruba tshirt.

DSCN0468.JPG

No worries, we made it back to the main shopping area, where he went into what seems like EVERY SINGLE STORE. Until he found the PERFECT ONE. At one point he just took off leaving the boys and I on a bench. Dont worry we had some good laughs making fun of him.

We people watched for a while. then we did some shopping ourselves. Eventually E found 2 shirts (seriously this man is going to need a closet just for his vacation shirts soon) and met back up with us.

20150402_141854.jpg

It was really hot out so I stopped in a lil bar and got the boys sodas and beers for E and I.

20150402_143720.jpg

We walked back to the pier enjoying our time and people watching, he's not the Dos XX man, but he's cute enough to be the face of Balashi!

20150402_145329.jpg

Then we saw a Mojito stand, low and behold they had all the flavors still. So I got a strawberry, or watermelon, or rasberry.. something red LOL Which yes P got a sip... then momma took it over. But momma should have stopped at the beer, and remembered she's not as young as she used to be.

20150402_145251.jpg

We kept walked and bumping into "friends" along the way. Everyones so friendly on vacation. Going back to the ships you walk thru their shopping area. I thought I took pics but nada. I think I was enjoying the mojito.

20150402_145919.jpg

Seeing the ship from our long walk back (ok it wasnt that long) was happy joy
