Simple question if any drink under 11.00 dollars is included, why cant you have a can of beer instead of draft ?

You can. We just got back Thursday from the Pearl, lots of beer available by the bottle or can.

Why would you think you couldn't? There are cans, bottles and draft available on board. All the same.

I enjoyed many bottled beers on the Breakaway. However, as part of the UBP, fountain sodas are included but canned sodas are not.

There are a lot of posts about the UBP in the archives that contain outdated, incorrect, or otherwise unreliable information. The NCL is the best place to go first for questions about the current package: Ultimate Beverage Package (be sure to click on the Terms & Conditions). The current terms say "bottled or draft beer up to and including $11" but if there is beer in cans that should also be included :)

Who ever said that was completely incorrect. In fact, in 90 percent of the bars on board, there are no taps... so that is physically impossible.

Are you perhaps thinking of the "Buckets of beer", priced as a package with 1 free beer as bonus? Any packages... such as the buckets of beer, flights of martinis, that type of thing, are not included but you can get them as singles so no worries.
