Cab from Port to MIA pay with cc

Anyone know if I can pay with a credit card for the cab from the Port of Miami to the Miami airport or is it cash only???

Most of the cabs are equipped with credit card machines, but the drivers prefer cash and sometimes claim their CC machine does not work. Be prepared either way - the fare is only $24+tip

Ask before you enter. You might have to skip over a couple for the reason John said.

We use cash for all cab rides.

My experience is the same as John's. When we were in Miami earlier this year one of the two cabs we were in the credit card device did not work.

 

Personally, like eandj we only use cash and you are only talking about $24.00 plus tip from the Port of Miami to the Miami Airport. To me quicker to use cash, no worries about whether or not the credit card device works, and no worries about credit card fraud.
