Aruba Overnight Question

The November 13th cruise on the Eclipse is staying overnight in Aruba and we are looking forward to it. Can't wait to do the Kookoo Kanuku party bus since we didn't get to do it last time we were there.

In my opinion, Grenada is the worst Caribbean port there is. It's nearly impossible to walk around or enjoy because of the most aggressive vendors in the Caribbean. I wouldn't grieve too much over losing that over an extra day in Barbados.

 

I love Grenada! One of my favorite Caribbean ports. THE place to buy fresh spices. Have never felt unsafe walking around there. And I don't have a big guy escorting me either. Have gone by myself or with one or two other women.

I'd have to disagree with you. Grenada is a gorgeous, English-influenced island with amazingly pristine beaches and very friendly people. It remains one of our very favorite Caribbean ports to this day.

Yes, you're right that there are vendors. We had to deal with a massive total of 2 vendors throughout the day. Both were quiet, unobtrusive and moved on their way. I'll pay that "price" any day to be on one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever set eyes on. To each his own though. ;)

Talking about beautiful beaches, avoid Palm Beach on Aruba it was infested with Seaweed just 2 weeks ago. Eagle beach was significantly better.
