Canal Street, River front, and St. Charles - so basically just very near the quarter

 

Definitely not down Bourbon Street. :)

No buses or streetcars go down Bourbon. it's a walking city as the street is also closed off to vehicles at night. Just the Cross Streets are open until at least 10++ blocks down.

If you go to New Orleans you should get on the St Charles Street car, you can get on it on Canal St. it goes past the beautiful homes on St Charles Ave, it is part of visiting N.O.

Starting June 1 and lasting through the summer, there will major disruptions of the uptown part of the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line because of flood control construction projects.
