Luggage

Yes you can. We did it this year on Aurora. They give you a date and time slot for delivery to the cruise terminal. It will be two or three days before your ship sails when there are no ships in. The cost is £35 per case. You can either deliver it yourself or arrange collection through the baggage handling company at extra cost.

We left case on the ship in Hong Kong in March £35 and picked it up when ship docked in Southampton. Our tablemates had cases put on in Southampton and joined ship with us in Sydney. So the answer is yes you can for a fee.

Its a great service and well worth the fee. Much better than hauling suitcases to the airports. We packed all our formal cruise gear, including three of DH's suits, and all the 'summer' stuff we would not need for a few months. Got to Southampton on the appointed day but arrived just a couple of hours before deadline (there were 2 other cases left from our ship) so the pickup took literally a minute or two. They are really well organised 😄

This sounds a great idea but just a thought, if you put the cases on at Southampton and you don't join the ship until, say, Sydney, are the clothes not all badly creased? No problem leaving luggage on at Sydney while you fly home then pick up the cases again at Southampton creases wouldn't matter. Just wonder if anyone can say what their experiences are.

Never done it on an outward journey like that but lots of people do. There are irons in the launderette and we discovered that on world cruises/sectors, your steward will bring an iron and ironing board to your cabin 😄
