MzMelissa26 Posted June 1, 2015 #76 Share Posted June 1, 2015 Loving the review. We are going the same exact week next year. Can you advise if the ship was really crowded? Were you able to get lounge chairs, get in pool, long lines for food etc? Thanks

Avril Posted June 27, 2015 #78 Share Posted June 27, 2015 I'm loving your review!! :D It makes me want to go NOW, lol. I will be doing a B2B on Breeze for New Years and the 1st week in January, can't wait!! :D It'll be my 2nd (and 3rd I guess since it's technically 2 seperate cruises) on the Breeze, she's my all time favourite ship. It was nice seeing your pics from Antigua, that's one f our ports on the 2nd half of the B2B and I've never been there. It looks so pretty and that beach looks wonderful. What was it called again? What did you think of Saphhire Beach in St Thomas? We went there this past January when we did a New Years cruise on the Eurodam, definatly one of my favourite beaches!! I also love Orient Bay Beach in St Maarten (the beach is on the French side of the island).
Jenhem31 Posted June 27, 2015 #79 Share Posted June 27, 2015 Awesome review! I sailed Breeze in February, and we just booked an 8 day Eastern for September. Trying out a cove this time! We loved the piano bar, but Ben Gentry was there in Feb. I'm hoping the one in Sept. will be good as well.
kapeavey Posted June 27, 2015 #80 Share Posted June 27, 2015 Hi there! I recognize your sister, Diane! We met her on the Breeze when we sailed her a few years ago. My husband and I met her and her brother on the pub crawl in Key West. Please tell her hello from Mitch and Karen! I'm enjoying your review and am sailing the Breeze again in March. Keep writing and I'll keep reading. :)
DANCING GRANDMOMMY Posted June 27, 2015 #81 Share Posted June 27, 2015 Enjoying your post. If you had to choose 1 thing to tell someone to definitely not miss on this ship, what would it be? Are there things on this ship that are a definite improvement to previous ships you have been on.
Doc brown75 Posted June 30, 2015 #82 Share Posted June 30, 2015 I'm loving this review. All of these places sound and look so beautiful. I'm thinking about to book my first. Any suggestions like what ships and locations are a must see?
Cjh1975 Posted July 1, 2015 Author #83 Share Posted July 1, 2015 We were getting in to port on this day so we woke up grabbed some breakfast then went out to the Lido pool area and were happy to see these creatures Next we headed to the main lounge to watch the Morning Show with our Cruise Director Matt and Orlando Magic. It was fun to watch live. I had never done this before I've only seen it on TV. After the Morning Show we stayed for the Q&A with Matt. I love going to these and hearing people's questions and the CD's responses. Matt is a very funny guy and it was very entertaining. Cjh1975 Posted July 1, 2015 Author #84 Share Posted July 1, 2015 We them headed up to watch us sail in. I think this was my favorite island to sail into. I've always wanted to go to Atlantis and it was really cool seeing it in the distance as we sailed in. Also the water was beautiful and there were some nice houses along the water The Ecstacy and Disney Dream Atlantis in the background

Cjh1975 Posted July 1, 2015 Author #88 Share Posted July 1, 2015 We walked over to the water taxi to go over to Atlantis. The boat ride over was nice. They pointed some of the houses as we went by. One was owned by Nicholas Cage. I forgot who else owned the others. The guide told us that the area behind us was where they relocated dolphins after a hurricane destroyed their habitat
Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #89 Share Posted July 5, 2015 When we got off the boat the guide told us how to walk to Atlantis. Apparently we don't listen well because we got lost. We came across a little security booth and asked for directions and he told us how to get there. I guess went right on a street when we should have made a left. We left the guard and quickly found our way to Atlantis. Walking by the shops towards Atlantis Ben & Jerrys We didn't want to spend the money to walk around the grounds so we just walk through the free areas. Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #91 Share Posted July 5, 2015 We walked around Atlantist for a bit and I had to try my luck in the casino ( I had no luck). Them we hopped onto a cab to head back to the port. We happened to get in a can with a family from our ship. We had met the daughter earlier in the cruise when we were in a hot tub. She saw me get in the cab and she said to me, "I'm really glad to see that you are not as burnt as you were when I met you. I was a little worried for you." We laughed and shared stories about our time at Atlantis. They bought a day pass and showed us some of their pictures and it looked pretty cool We got back to the port and decided we were going to walk to a beach that someone on the ship told us about. So we headed over. On our way we stopped at the straw market to browse. I wasn't really feeling this area. The vendors were quite aggressive. I did end up buying a bracelet for my daughter. Them we continued our walk to the beach. The beach we went to was Junkanoo Beach. I loved the vibe of this beach. They a bar there where you could get 4 beers and 4 shots for 10.00. So we got one of those, they gave us two beers and two shots and told us to come back when we wanted the rest. I don't know what the the shots were but they were sweet and yummy. We walked to the water and a guy stopped us and asked if we wanted beach chairs. $10.00 for a chair and a choice of like 4 drinks. So we decided to that. The guy got us our chairs and said he would come back later to see what drinks we wanted since we had just gotten our beers we sat on the chairs and relaxed. For a bit listening to The music from the bar
Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #92 Share Posted July 5, 2015 While we were in our chairs we heard the song "Who Let the Dogs Out" playing from a truck in the street. I walked over to the street and a truck was pullin a flatbed thing with a whole bunch of locals in costumes dancing. They were letting everyone know the the Junkanoo Carnival was coming up soon. It was really cool to see. After that we returned to our chairs and ordered the drinks that came with our chairs. I ordered some kind of tropical daiquiri and Diane ordered a banana daiquiri. I liked mine but Diane wasn't too thrilled with hers so she went to the bar to exchange it for something else. While Diane was at the bar I saw a couple coming out of the water that had been snorkeling. I went over to them and asked how the snorkeling was. The guy answered me and said it wasn't too great. As I walked away from them I thought to myself that the couple looked familiar but didn't really think anything about it. After we got back on the ship I realized that the couple looked like my cousin's cousin and wife on the other side of her family. When I got home I sent a FaceBook message to my cousin's cousin asking her if she was in The Bahamas that day. She said yes that she was there on a cruise. I told her that I was the one who asked about the snorkeling. She replied " I thought you looked familiar". I asked her what cruise ship she was on, there were 5 ships I'm port that day. She said they were on the Breze. Small world huh? Anyways.....back to the review. After we had our daiquiris we went to the bar to get out last two beers and shots This time we had some green shots. Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #93 Share Posted July 5, 2015 As we walked from the bar back to our chairs from the bar we walked by the cutest little kids playing Drums I have each kid a dollar and they were very happy then we returned to our chairs, drank our beer and enjoy the view We went down to feel the water but it was cold and we didn't want to go in it. Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #94 Share Posted July 5, 2015 The Fascination sailing away After watching the Fascination sail away we decided it was time to head back to the ship. We gathered out belongings and started the walk back. A banner for the Junkanoo Carnival As we were walking back we walked by this. I thought it was cool because I LOVE anchors! Back on the ship we went to the room, showered, and headed to dinner. I always get sad when I hear the waiters sing the Leaving from a Funship song. It's like official notice that the cruise is winding down:(
Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #95 Share Posted July 5, 2015 After dinner we came back to the room to see this The most amazing cabin steward ever had straighten out all or previous towel animals and added a heart. He said he had completed our zoo Jonnathan and I After chatting with Jonnathan for a bit we packed up or cabins and put our luggage in the hallway. Then we headed to the piano bar for one last hurrah. We stayed on the piano bar all night not wanting it to end. When it did we took pictures with all the great people we met during the week Our hilarious bartender Adi. He kept us laughing all week long The awesome group of people who hung out at the bar every night. Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #98 Share Posted July 5, 2015 We woke up, went to the buffet, and grabbed some breakfast. Then headed to the cabin to the eat. Jonnathan came by to chat and told us to take our time leaving. Them we said our goodbyes and Jonnathan left to clean some other cabins We A little while later we left our cabins and started walking down the hall. Jonnathan happened to see us walk by so he came out to give us one last hug and say that he was going to miss is. He was the best cabin steward I have had. One last shot of the atrium Then we headed off the ship and commented on how it's not as fun walking off the ship as it is walking on. We got our luggage and headed to customs. The customs agent was really friendly and saw on my ID I was from San Clemente. He said he used to be in the military and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, which is right next to where I live. After getting through customs we headed to wait for SAS to pick us up. The van dropped us off at our hotel in Fort Lauderdale. We stayed at the Hyatt Place. We got an early checking and headed to the room and took a nap. After we woke up we decided to go to the pool. Then we decided to go to the beach. We walked over to the Publix nearby. And waited for the bus. It seemed to take forever for the bus to get there but it finally came. A shot from the bus. You can see a cruise ship in port Some shots from the bus A shot from the bus of this cool hotel that looks like a cruise ship. It used to be a Sheraton but I'm not sure what it is now. Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #99 Share Posted July 5, 2015 The bus drops you off right at the beach. We found a good spot on the beach spread out our towels and laid out. The beach was beautiful We sat, enjoyed the view, and watched some kite surfers for a while. Then we watche a Royal Caribbean ship sail away. Cjh1975 Posted July 5, 2015 Author #100 Share Posted July 5, 2015 We decided it was time to leave the beach so we walked to the bus stop and took the bus back to the Publix. We walked over to the Ross across the street the started to walk back to the hotel. On the wall back the sky became really cloudy and it started to rain pretty good. We walked back to the hotel, showered, changed and walk back to Firehouse Subs to grab dinner. Then we walked back to the hotel. On the way back to the hotel we came across an alley that appeared to be a shortcut. We were going to take the alley but we saw this sign So we decide this was probably not the best way to go When we returned to the hotel we ate dinner, watched tv and called out a night
