Clarea Posted August 25, 2015 #26 Share Posted August 25, 2015 I know on the Southbound Radiance Alaska crises we were told we had to have a passport, and it was checked in Anchorage before they even gave us the shuttle ticket. Any cruise that is not closed loop (leaves and comes back to the same US city) requires a passport.

That is not a closed loop cruise, so a passport would be required.

S.S.Oceanlover Posted August 25, 2015 #29 Share Posted August 25, 2015 I have been online and I have my passport but I would like to know what they told Jackaroosmom over the phone. I'm curious specific to the excursions. I wouldn't put too much faith into what an RCI said about passport requirements. Call 3 times get 3 answers. On my NCL roll call somebody called the passport agency asking about passport requirements and was told that if they plan on getting off the ship in ports they definitely must have passports. We are doing a closed loop cruise from Miami that goes to Jamaica, Cayman, Cozumel, and NCL's private island in the Bahamas. If the passport agency can't answer correctly I sure wouldn't trust an RCI rep. Bill
