Awesome pics, took me a bit to find these. I'm currently booked on Dolphin but thinking about coming down to Emerald to save $400 + slightly bigger balcony. E425 is a great unobstructed view however my concern is noise. I can't remember if that outside promenade had music playing. I can't imagine too much noise coming from Facets below.

The Emerald deck offers great pricing. We have had Dolphin and Emerald large balcony "obstructed view" rooms and both were fine. The space to move the chairs around is a big plus. We were never bothered by noise. Most people are just enjoying the view or reading while sitting below.

Tell me about lights from the SeaWalk or SeaView Bar? I'm in E428 which I believe is under the SeaView Bar, will lights from that venue be on all night? Love star (and Moon) gazing!

Excited about this location! Lack of Stairs might be an issue for me as I'm used to putting Mom on an elevator (when it's crowed and I don't want to take up space) then running down the stairs and meeting her. Can't really do that if you have to run forward/aft, down the stairs and back.. well maybe some of you can. I can't. :p

I don't think any lights will bother you. They are kind of subdued and you are way below the bar. I rarely looked straight up when in that area. And we had some clear pretty nights looking out while seated. Have a wonderful cruise. It's a cool ship.

I was unable to post the photo from 'dmwnc1959' showing the area under the SeaView Bar but here's a link to the photo showing the blue illumination under the bar.

Thank you it does not look like it would be a problem. But looked at the prices again tonight and saw that the premium obstructed balconies are now cheaper. I called to see if I could get my casino rate applied with a move to E410. They said my casino rate had expired so I asked that since I already booked couldn't they just move it? I have to call back tomorrow when customer relations is open. I am happy either way, but if I can move to E410, save $29 pp and get a bigger cabin AND balcony I'll be over that moon I like to gaze upon!

Thank you for the picture of the balcony. Not nearly as bad as I had envisioned. Walking is no big deal, but after reading so many concerns about the lack of a central stairway, I thought I was missing something. We are sailing a B2B, so pretty sure I'll find my way around eventually!

You're welcome! I've seen closer photos & read posts from those who've had cabins in the midship area & hopefully someone can provide you with additional information.
