Years ago, I was very particular about type of cabin and location. As time has passed, I get less picky. When I book, I look for the best value for my money. I like veranda cabins when the price is good. An ocean view is also acceptable. Sometimes there is not much difference in prices. I booked a cruise on Celebrity sailing in the fall that was priced the verandas less than the inside or ocean view cabins. It was guaranty. Cabin posted about 4 weeks after I booked. It's in a great location with an angled cabin with the extra veranda space.
