Bayside Market Area

Does anyone have some good ideas for things to do in and around the Bayside Market area? We'll be arriving in Miami around 11 AM the day before our cruise and I'm looking for some things to do with a 10 and 12 year old boys. We're leaving for the airport in CT at around 5 AM and I imagine we'll be a bit tired; so I'm not looking for anything to wild or anything that requires more than a 15+/- minute cab ride; preferable even things in walking distance. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe you can pick up the Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour at Bayside. Otherwise maybe a quick taxi to South Beach for some fun in the sand, etc. Or just chill out at your hotel pool.

Yes you can pick up the hop on hop off tour bus which will take you to Miami Beach and include south beach as well as a few other areas in Miami.

 

If you want excitement for your boys and wake them up:D ...you can catch the Speed boat ride there too.

There are power boat rides and pirate ship sight seeing rides that leave out of Bayside. Lots of shopping and eateries and kiosks with food and drink (alkie and-non-alkie) plus a park near by.
